It’s almost that time of year again. We will be hosting the deaf picnic by Lake Murray lodge this year. You can use Larry Brown water sport if you like, swim,boat, jet ski,& trampoline in water (that cost extra). Your responsible. We will have hotdogs, hamburger, chips, drinks, & ice cream. Cost for adults $10. Children 5 to 10 years old $5. Under 5 is free. Senior citizen is $8.00. Come join us for a fun relaxing day of swimming, games ,volleyball, and visit with friends. You need bring towel and life jacket if need.also bring water shoes
Please join SWBC Deaf Ministry Fall Fellowship Saturday, November 18th from 1pm to 4pm. This will be held at SWBC 3rd floor fellowship hall. Deafblind friends, deaf friends, students and visitors are welcome to come! It is always good when we come together.
n Nov 17, the sign language club at OSU OKC will have a game night. They will give out prizes and provide Thanksgiving dinner. This is a good opportunity for Deafblind to come socialize with students in the interpreter training program. This would help the students to become better trained to work with the Deafblind one day.

October’s Support Group is coming up on October 14th! Get ready for a fun craft day to be yours for the Fall’s season! Mark your calendar for this special day and come and join in socializing with your fellow DeafBlind friends! You can only meet and challenge and build your knowledge and/or skills by participating! This will be a wonderful craft to make and have in your home or give to a special friend or loved ones! Let show others what DeafBlind can do and how we live as independent adults!
At 12 noon to 2p.m. We will be discussing plans coming up and experience something we ALL should learn to do! Yes! We will be
playing a fun and educational game! I can’t tell you what that will be because it woan’t be a SURPRISE! Hahahahaha! So bring yourself and you could even bring a friend!
And let us all continue to stick together and fellowship with our Deaf-Blind friends. Come out and join us and practice and improve your skills and much more!
Parent's of deaf, deaf children and family or friends to join and learn different sign animals at the zoo. Please join the community as there will be an interpreter available as well.
Price is $20 which includes a shirt for adult and $17 which includes a shirt for child. Children age 3 and younger are free.
