DeafBlind consumers have limited to virtually nonexistent access to public communications and information on laws and public policy initiatives passed by local and federal legislative bodies. This lack of information directly affects their rights as individuals and their ability to influence change on their own behalf.

Living Interdependently with Dignity, Wholeness & Respect

Everyone deserves the right to be fully included and immersed in their community and enjoy opportunities to live, learn, grow, work and socialize with others side by side. This includes those with dual sensory loss, older adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, who need varying levels of support with things like transportation, shopping for groceries and clothes, and finding community employment.
